
Terms of Responsibility, Risk Awareness, and Cancellation Policy
TERMS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK AWARENESS
1. NATURE OF THE ACTIVITIES
I acknowledge that the activities offered by the Operator include nature tourism, ecotourism, and adventure tourism practices, such as: mountaineering, climbing, hiking, trekking, rappelling, paragliding, hang gliding, skydiving, cycling, waterfall diving, among others. These activities, although responsibly organized, involve inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
2. RISK WARNING
I am aware that these activities involve the following risks, among others:
- Animal attacks (including venomous animals such as snakes, spiders, scorpions, bees, wasps, etc.);
- Adverse weather conditions (intense sun, rain, strong winds, extreme cold, storms, lightning, landslides, flash floods);
- Falls, slips, and impacts on rugged, slippery, steep, and unstable terrain;
- Falling rocks, branches, and equipment;
- Exposure to physical and psychological stress, dehydration, exhaustion, hyperthermia or hypothermia;
- Errors in personal or third-party judgment, human or equipment failures;
- Physical injuries such as cuts, abrasions, sprains, fractures, and, in extreme cases, death.
3. PARTICIPANT'S RESPONSIBILITY
I commit to:
- Providing truthful and updated information about my physical and mental health, medication use, allergies, and health insurance;
- Following all instructions, safety guidelines, and limits established by guides and instructors;
- Refraining from behavior that puts myself or others at risk;
- Correctly using the safety equipment provided and reporting any issues with it;
- Informing the activity leaders of any discomfort, illness, or doubts.
4. ACTIVITY CONDITIONS
I understand that:
- Activities may be modified, suspended, or canceled at any time for safety, weather conditions, or force majeure;
- Some activities take place in remote areas with limited access to emergency services and communication, which may delay or prevent rescue;
- The use of safety equipment is essential but does not fully eliminate risks;
- It is my responsibility to assess my own physical, psychological, and technical condition to participate in each activity.
5. IMAGE RIGHTS
I authorize, free of charge and for an indefinite period, the use of photographic images, video recordings, or testimonials of myself taken during the activities for the Operator’s exclusive promotional purposes, in physical or digital media.
6. LIABILITY WAIVER
I declare that I voluntarily and fully assume the risks involved in participating in these activities, releasing the Operator, its directors, staff, guides, partners, and service providers from any liability for accidents or physical or moral damages that may occur, except in cases of proven intent or gross negligence.
7. FINAL PROVISIONS
- This agreement applies to all activities carried out with the Operator, in any location, whether public or private, including protected areas.
- I declare that I am in good health to participate in the activities and that I have disclosed any personal risk condition in advance.
- I understand that if I am under 18 years of age, this agreement must also be signed by my legal guardian.

CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, AND REFUND POLICY – MURIQUI
1. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT
The client may request the cancellation of the purchased package, subject to the following conditions:
- Up to 30 days before the start date: 90% refund of the total amount paid.
- Between 29 and 21 days in advance: 80% refund of the total amount paid.
- Between 20 and 14 days in advance: 70% refund of the total amount paid.
- Between 13 and 7 days in advance: 50% refund of the total amount paid.
- Less than 7 days in advance: no refund.
- No-show without prior notice: considered a "no-show," with no refund entitlement.
*Note:* The refund percentages have been adjusted to reflect common industry practices and ensure clarity for clients.
2. RESCHEDULING BY THE CLIENT
The client may request to reschedule the package, subject to availability and the following conditions:
- Up to 15 days before the start date: rescheduling with no additional cost.
- Less than 15 days in advance: a 10% administrative fee will be charged based on the total package value.
*Note:* The new date must be within 12 months of the original package date.
3. CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY MURIQUI
In cases of cancellation or significant changes to the package by MuRiQui, the client may choose:
- A full refund of the amount paid.
- Rescheduling to a new date at no additional cost.
- A credit in the full amount paid to use on other MuRiQui services, valid for 18 months.
4. WEATHER CONDITIONS AND EXTERNAL FACTORS
If adverse weather conditions or external factors compromise the safe execution of the package, MuRiQui may:
- Postpone the activity to a new date at no additional cost.
- Offer credit in the full amount paid, valid for 18 months.
- Proceed with a full refund, according to the client's choice.
5. CANCELLATION REQUEST PROCEDURES
To request a cancellation, rescheduling, or refund, the client must contact MuRiQui through official customer service channels, providing the necessary information to identify the reservation.
*Note:* It is recommended that all requests be made in writing (email or online form) to ensure proper documentation.
